Engineers of the South, LLC is Hiring a CAD Designer Near Florence, AL

Overview:
Engineers of the South is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our Florence, Alabama office. As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models using various software programs, and assist in planning, design, and construction documents for a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects.

Duties:
- Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings or models using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop design concepts and specifications
- Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to produce high-quality designs
- Conduct design reviews to identify potential issues or improvements

Education and Experience:

-High School Diploma or equivalent

-Associates degree or higher in drafting, design, or a combination of relevant coursework and drafting experience
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
